You guys might have heard rumours trawling around out there that “the pop-up” is dead or old news these days – well, in fact, those naysayers couldn’t be more wrong.
To put our money where our mouth is here, we’ve uncovered five reasons for you not to believe the gossip. Thrill-seekers everywhere rejoice, this November these inventive pop-ups are making their way to a London near you…
Picture a botanical filled wonderland, fully equipped with an entertainment stage, bar and café… got that? Now, imagine this all on top of a mammoth jetty floating on the Thames. Imagine no more, introducing… Farmopolis. Created using rescued Chelsea Flower Show plants, this flamboyant venue will be a contemporary playground of live music and TED-style talks, throughout November.

T2 Shoreditch Gallery
What do you get when you take one Aussie tea brand, six up and coming artists, and a stylish Redchurch Street space? You guessed it, T2’s Shoreditch Gallery pop-up. The global tea-makers have proven they’re passionate about supporting their neighbours and emerging local talent, setting six young creatives the challenge of producing diverse artworks inspired T2’s iconic tea-offering and the surrounding buzzing Shoreditch culture.

Shoreditch, Dalston, Camden… Peckham?? Yes, Peckham isn’t the back-oh-van-business, Only Fools and Horses, neighbourhood it once was. These days the area’s abundant in carefully trimmed beards, thick-framed glasses and pompadour hairdos. The newly reigning hipster central will be welcoming this street food pop-up festival, including appearance from culinary virtuosos such as Forza Win, Popdogs and The Cheese Truck – not to mention, a crazy golf course from Birdies!

Backyard Cinema’s Winter Night Garden
When? 18th November. Where? Right in the heart of a beautiful enchanted woodland (… inside of an artisan food market). Why? Because your central-heated sitting room at home just ISN’T good enough! This is a pop-up sure for a unique experience, enter: cosy sleeping bags, festival vibes and some truly classic films (including the aptly named, ‘Frozen’)
