Hydro-Spinning: Workout In A Bubble Bath

Hydro-spinning is the latest fitness sensation to hit London. Popular with the French for improving cardiovascular fitness it also eliminates water retention, boosts circulation and reduces cellulite. We’re in!

Delphine Riahi-Botbol introduced the concept that involves exercising on bikes while you are part-submerged in water in your own little Jacuzzi-like pod. This is a far cry from aqua-fit classes in a crowded swimming pool as HydroFit looks and feels more spa treatment than workout.

But nothing comes easy and a HydroFit workout is deceptively intense. Not only does a 30 minute workout burn a minimum of 300 calorie but it also combines the advantages of training in water with the benefits of hydro-massage and chromotherapy. Eh?
