Do/Events Standon-Calling-Festival

Get Lost at Sea at Standon Calling

Standon Calling Festival comes to Standon Lordship country grounds, Hertfordshire from the 29th – 31st July.

The line-up has something for everyone and includes Kelis, Jess Glyne, Suede, The Hives, Gold Panda and Theo Parish. The festival is known for its family friendly programmes that will include Family Swim Sessions, DJ Classes, Street Dance, Baby Yoga and more. There will also be an array of food choices including Spit & Roast, Cheeky Italian, Club Mexicana, Le Bun and the festivals own pop-up restaurant Ceru.

Looking at their website I’m starting to think Standon Calling will be one great excuse to be childish for the weekend beginning with their “Legend of The Loss Seas” theme. It’s not exactly clear how the Festival will bring this theme to life but I do look forward to playing my part costume wise. By costume I mean some glitter on my face and maybe a pirate-esc bandana if i’m feeling really freaky.

Now I know Hertfordshire sounds MILES out of London but surprisingly it is just a 45 minute (£18 return) train ride from Liverpool St so it really is an easy weekend escape.

Come get lost at Sea with the Neon Team, Yaarrrrrrr?
